Rates (per day) include: room and board, 24-hour nursing care, maid and laundry service, snacks, resident activities. Payments are due on first of the month. 30-day written notice given on any rate adjustment.

Barber and beauty shop services, medications, clothes, oxygen, and transportation to doctor appointments are charged to individual resident. (Cost may vary with type of reimbursement program resident is under.)

Refunds are based on the daily rates less supplies and charges used by resident. Day of admission - not day of discharge - will be charged.

A room reservation charges will apply to private pay residents who go to the hospital or leave for any reason and wish to return to the same room.

Pleasant View serves persons in need of intermediate and skilled nursing care.

Facility consists of two private and 29 semi-private rooms.

All rooms have television hook-ups and convenient access to a telephone. Personal belongings - pictures, chairs, etc. - are welcome as space permits.

Other areas include restorative dining, three vegetable gardens, therapy room, patio, and a beauty/barber shop.

Nursing available 24 hours a day from licensed staff under supervision of Medical Director. We also participate in hospice care programs.

Complete restorative program includes physical, occupational, speech therapy, restorative meal service and therapeutic bathing. Short term rehabilitative stays also available.

All dietary needs are met, including special diets, and family members are welcome to share meals.

Individualized care programs and a handicap-equipment van for transportation and doctor appointments are also available.

Other conveniences for residents include access to podiatry, dentistry, optometry, lab, and pharmacy services. Personal needs account is also available.

Wide range of activities includes religious services, trips and excursions, resident council meetings, crafts, family dinners, cookouts on the patio grill, social service and volunteer programs.
