Quality Care from People Who Care
Nestled on the hilltop overlooking Northwest Missouri, Pleasant View offers private and semi-private rooms. We are dedicated to making our residents feel “right at home!” All rooms have private telephones and television hook-ups and personal belongings – pictures, chairs, etc. – are welcome as space permits. As a recipient of the CMS 5-Star Quality Rating and a 2012 AHCA Bronze Quality Award Winner, we take pride in the quality care we provide.
The focus at Pleasant View is on rehabilitation and recuperation. We strive to help our residents recover as much functional ability to regain the independence they deserve. Nursing is available 24 hours a day from licensed staff under the supervision of a Medical Director. Individualized care programs and a handicap-equipment van for transportation for doctor appointments are also available.
Our highly trained staff of professional caregivers provide skilled nursing care services for a variety of medical conditions such as diabetes, post-surgical wound care and IV therapy. We also offer a comprehensive therapy program, provided by our in-house team of therapists. We provide 1-on-1 individualized Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy, 5 days a week, to help our patients recover from stroke, hip replacement surgery and other debilitating events. Short term rehabilitative stays also available. For the convenience of our residents, we contract medical services in-house such as chest X-rays, and electrocardiograms and blood work.
One key amenity is our open restaurant style dining. When staying at Pleasant View, our kitchen is always open and you can choose from a variety of menu options for every meal. Our dietary staff will work to make sure all dietary needs are met, including special diets, and family members are always welcome to share meals for a minimal fee.
We believe in supporting our community and encourage our residents to do so as well. We regularly participate in community activities to keep our residents active in the community in which they live. Activities includes religious services, trips and excursions, resident council meetings, crafts, cooking, coffee socials, exercise and sports games, family dinners and cookouts and intergenerational events with local schools.
Other facility amenities include living room/chapel, dining room, therapy room, social services room and patio to enjoy the outdoors and onsite beauty shop.
A private hospice room is available for use by family who are facing end of life circumstances. Our trained staff will provide assistance and guidance during this time of need and have a great relationship with many local hospice agencies.
